London Under (Covert) Construction
I thought that this was a pretty neat way to cover ongoing construction. The shot was taken from the Millennium Bridge on my way to the Tate Modern.

Flickr geo-tagging!
Flickr was amazing and now even more so. They've made it really easy to geo-tag your photos so others can see where they were taken.

Spell with flickr
Found this while digging for stories this morning. Simply enter a word (or words) and hit enter and the script will go out and find matching letters in pictures that are posted on flickr. If you don't like the images that you get the first time around you can click on they image of the letter that you don't want and it will go out and find another image of that letter for you. It's very easy to use and pretty cool if you ask me. Here's the link so you can give it a try: Link

Free flickr 1 year Pro Account
So, out of no where today, I noticed that flickr was only giving me until the end of today to give away my second 1 year pro account. I signed up with flickr, while they were still in beta, for a two year pro account. As a present for supporting them while they were still in beta they gave be double my subscription (2x2=4 years!) as well as giving me two 1 year pro subscriptions to give out. I gave one to my sister while she was over visiting me and figured I would save the last one. You can imagine my surprise (just a few moments ago) when I noticed a blinking alert on my flickr home page telling me that I had until the end of the day to give my last 1 year pro account away. So I quickly pulled myself together, created a new account, added my original account as a contact, added the dummy account as a contact, and gave the dummy account my last 1 year pro account.
If there are any loyal readers that would like a 1 year pro account with flickr please leave a comment and I'll try to sort you out.
*** I just noticed that the flickr logo still says "beta" on it. Hmmm. ***
