Word Press

I've been toying around with Word Press lately and am thinking of taking the leap.  Setting up MySQL and PHP weren't too big of a pain and it will give me the opportunity to explore the back end of blogging and web pages a little more than I have.  I'm still trying to get the K2 theme to work, errr.. to show up as an available theme even!

Defpol feed updated

Just a quick note to let you all know that I've just updated my RSS feed.  The feed name has changed as well as the content.  The new feed will now also contain my latest flickr uploads and has been updated to show the latest content on my TypePad blog rather than my Blogger blog (phasing out).  Be sure to update your news readers appropriately.

"Blog tagging"

I was watching the latest Command-N over on Amber Mac's blog and they were talking about "blog tagging". Essentially, it's like the old schoolyard game of "Tag", where someone was "it" and had to tag another person whom then became "it". Apparently this has begun in the realm of blogging. Blogger-A sends Blogger-B an email "tagging" them "it" and requiring them to post on various (simple) topics like: top 5 albums of all time, last 5 movies you watched, last five books you read, etc. I think it's a pretty cool idea, and as they said in the latest episode of Command-N, it provides bloggers with new ideas for content.

So, if you're reading this post on my blog, consider yourself "tagged" and post your top 5 favorite websites to your blog.

Another one bites the dust
